Desert Financial Raises $505k for Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Desert Financial Credit Union raised $505k through their annual golf tournament on March 2nd for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. This is in partnership with Credit Unions for Kids (a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals program). Since 1999, the golf tournament has raised over $4.9 million for kids in need.

The golf tournament, combined with other events, allows Desert Financial to fund the ‘1 Darn Cool School’ at Phoenix Children’s Hospital; which continues patients schooling while in the hospital. The school program is available to all children who are currently enrolled in kindergarten – 12th grade or special education 5 to 21 years.
