Nobody cares like Panda Cares

This time has given us all a heightened appreciation of those on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a healthcare organization, we always value these individuals. The last couple months we have truly enjoyed watching so many in the community come together to do the same.

Today, we want to highlight our friends at Panda Express who have gone above and beyond for our clinical staff during this time. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Panda Cares, the philanthropic arm of Panda Express, donated $77,760 worth of personal protective equipment (PPE) to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, including 9,600 KN95 Particulate Respirators and 80,000 single-use surgical masks. They followed that up with 150 meals for our essential staff.

Panda Express is a longtime supporter of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Their dedication to our patients runs through their entire business. Across the country, they are making donations of PPE and food to children’s hospitals staff – not missing a beat in helping their community. These reasons, and so many others, are why we are grateful for our Panda family.

They fundraise for Phoenix Children’s Hospital 365 days a year. Every single day they provide and work on behalf of our patients and families through change round-up. Since 2007, Panda Express has raised $3.3 million for Phoenix Children’s.

For the rest of the year, participating Panda Express locations are offering a 10 percent appreciation discount on in-store purchases for healthcare workers and first responders with their employment badge. Through its philanthropic arm Panda Cares, Panda Express has created a COVID-19 Community Care Fund, in which all guest donations are put towards sourcing and providing PPE to local hospitals in this time of need as well as supporting research to find a treatment for COVID-19. In the midst of this public health crisis, Panda remains steadfast to its evergreen mission of protecting, inspiring and bettering the communities they serve.
