Not All Heroes Wear Capes, Some Wear Vests: Walmart and Sam’s Club

Walmart and Sam’s Club have supported Phoenix Children’s Hospital for the past 37 years. Despite the turbulent timing of this year’s Round-Up campaign, our friends understand that the need to provide hope and healing for our community is unwavering.

Across the country, Walmart and Sam’s Club are known for their friendly nature and happy demeanor in every area of their influential business. They take the time to get to know our patients and their stories in order to generate more action at their registers.

We are grateful that during this time, Walmart and Sam’s Club have been able to maintain their campaign commitment for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Arizona’s children continue to be diagnosed with cancer and other life threatening illness throughout the midst of this pandemic. Walmart understands that kids are not able to wait for the essential treatments and care they need.

This year’s campaign produced staggering results that can be credited to all the superheroes across Arizona who made it their mission to show strength for our patients and their families. While the contributions made to the #HelpKidsLiveBetter campaign are still being gathered, we wanted to share our gratitude to Walmart for keeping their doors open and providing much needed supplies to their customers. You are a constant reminder to our hospital of just how powerful the heroes behind the vests can be.

Thank you Walmart and Sam’s Club! For being a hero. For being essential. For being there.
