RE/MAX Retreat Raises Over $45,000 at CMN Auction

In a week chock-full of information for RE/MAX Broker/Owners, there was an element of giving added to the madness.

RE/MAX is known for their generosity within their work. For 27 years, RE/MAX has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the country. After a region reorganization, the new RE/MAX West area hosted their fall Broker/Owner retreat in Phoenix, AZ.

The three day-long retreat was packed with information, networking opportunities, updates, working lunches, and a traditional “fun night” to congratulate the attendees on their efforts over the past year. As this year’s retreat included almost double the amount of states represented in the new region, there was a desire to create a mega giving opportunity for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Scott Conklin, Business Growth Development of the West Region, was the man behind the curtain in planning the fundraising. “The Children’s Miracle Network is such a big part of RE/MAX and to be able to support this wonderful organization and see the impact it has on families is really incredible” he says. And so, a fun night CMN auction was born.

5-year old Korbin, a CMN Champion child from Phoenix, took the stage with Conklin to emcee the live auction. His excitement and volume elevated the attendees, and his story reminded everyone that impact of this fundraising is real, meaningful, and important. Local Phoenix RE/MAX Associate Christy Colberg also shared her emotional and powerful experience with CMN, encouraging her colleagues to give.

With a few incredible live auction items, a paddle raise, and a ‘heads or tails’ game, the attendees raised an astonishing $47,705 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the 15-state span. This is a prime example of the culture of giving that RE/MAX has created across the globe.

“The success of the West Region CMN auction would not be possible without our amazing owners and incredible team that represent the Children’s Miracle Network. We are truly blessed to work with the Best of the Best.” says Conklin.
