Children’s Hospitals Week Day 3: Meet Adri

As a children’s hospital, our patients are the center of everything we do. To highlight this we spoke to Adri (9), our 2019 and 2020 Children’s Miracle Network Champion.

Adri is full of energy, light and spunk. Adri is also a fighter.

She spent more than 100 days in-patient at Phoenix Children’s Hospital after being diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma at just six years old. Now doctors report Adri shows no signs of the disease. While she will continues to receive follow up care at Phoenix Children’s, Adri famously says, “Cancer chose the wrong kid.”

Get to know a little more about Adri through her answers below. Spoiler: get your happy tears ready for 4 and 6.
